Hazrat Umar (R) was born 13 years after the noble birth of Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and accepted Islam in the 6th year after the prophethood. He was the 40th man to accept Islam.
This eminent Sahabi is amongst the ten Sahabah who were given the glad tidings of Jannah by Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) in their lifetime and are famously known as Ashara Mubasharah. He was among the first ten people to accept Islam at the age of 16. He was martyred in the Battle of Jamal in 36 A.H at the age of 64.
This great companion accepted Islam in the early days and is one of the Asharah Mubasharah - the ten Sahabah who were given glad tidings of Jannah in this world.
Hazrat Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (R) is known as the maternal uncle of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) because he was from the same tribe as the mother of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) – Bani Najraan.
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abi Umairah (R) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) made dua for Hazrat Muawiyah (R) with the following words, “O Allah make him a guide, one who is guided and guide others through him.” (Sunanut Tirmizi)

Hazrat Ali is the paternal cousin and son-in-law of Rasulullah r, married to Hazrat Fatimah (RA).
Ummul M'umineen Hazrat Aisha (RA) was the daughter of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq t. Her mother was Umm Ruman (RA). Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) married her in the 10th year after Nubuwwat in the month of Shawwal.
Aamir ibn Abdillah ibnil Jarrah (R) accepted Islam together with Hazrat Uthman ibn Maz’oon (R) on the invitation of Hazrat Abu Bakr t. He migrated to Abyssinia when the second group of Sahabah y were migrating there and also migrated to Madinah Munawwarah thereafter. He passed away during the plague of Amwaas in Jordan in the year 18 A.H. at the age of 58. Hazrat Muaaz ibn Jabal (R) led his Janazah Salah.
Hazrat Abu Bakr's (R) name was Abdullah and his title was Abu Bakr. His was also known as Ateeq and Atqa. He was born approximately two years after Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and passed away approximately two years after Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) on 22 Jumadal Ukhra 13 A.H aged 63.
Hazrat Abdur Rahman ibn Auf (R) accepted Islam in its early stages. He made Hijrah to Abyssinia and to Madinah Munawwarah. He also participated in the battle of Badr and all the other subsequent battles with Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam).
He was known by the title Abu Abdir Rahman and also Ibn Umm Abd. He was the sixth man to bring Imaan in the early days of Islam. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) treated him most affectionately and always kept him close to his side. He was amongst the personal attendants of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)
Hafsa is the daughter of Hazrat Umar ibn Khattab (R) and one the noble wives of Rasulullah r. Her mother was Zaynub bint Maz'oon (Radiyallahu Anha). Before marrying Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) she was married to Hazrat Khunais ibn Huzafah As Sahmi t. She made Hijrah to Madeenah Munawwarah with him. He was severely wounded in the Battle of Badr and passed away thereafter.
Hazrat Bilal (R) was of African origin and was born from the slaves of the Banu Jumah tribe. He accepted Islam in the early days and was the first person to publicly proclaim his faith in Makkah. He participated in Badr and all the battles that took place therafter. Umayyah ibn Khalaf was one of his chief tormentors when he accepted Islam. Allah Ta'ala made it such that Hazrat Bilal (R) himself killed him in the Battle of Badr.
