Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre hosted a successful senior citizens lunch at Botata Primary school in KwaNdengezi on 10 December, 2022. The attendance was amazing and much more than anticipated.

On Tuesday; 22 November 2022; at 10:30 AM, the Darul Ihsan Centre was visited by Shaykh Yousef Khalawi, of which a short presentation on Darul Ihsan’s activities were hosted.
Volunteering sisters of Pietermaritzburg and the Darul Ihsan Relief Team, attended the Northdale Clinic Open Day on Saturday; 29 October 2022.
Following Computer Literacy classes that were hosted earlier this year for ladies in Tongaat, attending students extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Sister spearheading the lessons.
Al Ihsan Skills continue to provide basic empowerment for our community. Among its projects is the Al Ihsan Caregiver Course. Hereunder is a deep and sincere expression of appreciation for the initiative.

Darul Ihsan Centre, through its ‘Literature Collection Projection’, continues to uplift and educate communities by the provision of much needed Islamic literature.
Over the past Saturday; 8 October 2022; a programme for young sisters themed ‘Discovering the Treasure Within’ was held at the Darul Ihsan Centre, in Sea Cow Lake.
The Al Ihsan Charity Shop will be a year old next month and has already seen significant success since its opening.
Darul Ihsan’s quarterly ‘Learner Development Programme’ was successfully held over the weekend -17 September 2022 – featuring the topic ‘Al Masjidul Aqsa and My Role in the Liberation’.
Darul Ihsan Centre’s ‘Feed a Pupil’ project has seen sustained success over the past decade. The project provides prepared sandwiches to hungry pupils at local state schools.
The Isipingo Beach Intermediate School extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Darul Ihsan Centre for its help and guidance with a school counsellor.
Alhamdullillah, with the grace of Allah Ta’ala, two viewing groups stationed at Masjid Yusuf, Parlock and New Germany, Reservoir Hills, scanned the skies for the moon of Muharram 1444. Maghrib Salah was performed at both venues by all the volunteers.

The Welfare Department of Darul Ihsan spends a considerable amount of the monthly Zakat budget on assisting people with their grocery needs for the month. The assistance is rendered through grocery vouchers, monthly transfers, grocery hampers and general assistance.
