As part of his visit, on Monday, 6 July, the Shaykh visited Madrasah Inamiyyah in Camperdown and Madrasah Noor for the Blind in Cedara, where he addressed the students with short but inspiring advices. He encouraged them in their pursuit of Islamic knowledge, as well as expressed appreciation for the remarkable work being done at the institutions.

Later that evening, a special Ulama and Professionals Programme titled ‘Responding to Theological Challenges Facing Muslim Youth’ was held at Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre.

The event was attended by over 100 guests, comprising Ulama, professionals, educators, as well as community members. Shaykh Yasir Al-Wajidi delivered a thought-provoking and insightful address, highlighting contemporary ideological challenges facing Muslim youth and offering practical guidance rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

The following day, Shaykh Yasir Al-Wajidi departed Durban, concluding a short but immensely beneficial visit. His time in Durban was greatly appreciated by all who had the opportunity to benefit from his knowledge, guidance, and inspiring interactions.

May Allah Ta’ala accept his efforts, grant him continued strength and Barakah in his service to the Ummah, and allow the beneficial impact of his visit to endure. Ameen.
