The use of SHOE-RACKS in the Masjid
Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) displayed excellence in the arrangements of things.
In one narration, Ata ibn Yassar (R) related that, “One day the Messenger of Allah was sitting in the Masid when a person - whose hair of the head and the beard were most untidy and disarranged - came into the Masjid.”
Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) made a sign to him with his hand, indicating that he should go and have the hair of his head and beard trimmed. The man did as told, and when he returned, Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) observed: “Was it not better for you (that you went out and had your hair made neat and orderly) than that anyone of you came with his hair dishevelled and looking (wild), as if he was the Devil?” (Malik)
In line with the above narration, it is most important that we adopt neatness in everything which includes the use of shoe racks instead of leaving our shoes all over.
