Reaping the reward of Hajj

Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “One who performs Wuzu and proceeds to attend Fard Salah (with congregation) receives the reward of a Haji in the state of Ihram, and if he leaves for Salatud Duha (Chaast Salah), he gets the reward of performing Umrah.” (Abu Dawood)

Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “One who attends the Masjid for the purpose of learning or teaching (Islamic) knowledge, receives the reward of a Haji who performs a perfect Hajj.” (Tabrani)

Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “Whoever recites Subhanallah 100 times in the morning and 100 times in the evening is like one who performed Hajj 100 times.” (Tirmizi)

These are simple day to day actions that can be easily accomplished by every Muslim and the great rewards of Hajj and Umrah can be enjoyed. True love for Allah Ta'ala and the blessed lands is to practice on such actions that bring the rewards of pilgrimage, though one may not physically be able to undertake the journey.

NB. These optional acts do not suffice for the fulfilment of the obligatory Hajj.
