Unduly Delaying Payments

Infact it is a great injustice to someone who has concluded a transaction in good faith. A person will have to pay dearly on the day of Qiyamah for his deliberate negligence and shirking of responsibility.

Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) mentioned that the deliberate delaying of payment by a debtor is an injustice. (Bukhari)

There are increasing complaints of Muslims unduly delaying the settling of payments which are due. Such actions, as well as deceit, misrepresentation and other unethical practices in our commercial dealings must be abandoned in order to ensure that we are not deprived of the blessings of our earnings.

May Allah (SWT) protect us from deprivation and His wrath. Aameen
