Q: I do understand that Sajdah Tilawat is wajib when a person recites an ayat (verse) of sajdah or listens it. However, in the case of a woman is in haidh or nifaas, or a man is in a state of janabat (ritual impurity) listening to a verse of Sajdah Tilaawat, is it necessary upon such a person to make the sajdah once purity is attained ?
A: There is no sajdah upon a woman in haidh or nifaas when she hears the ayat of sajdah being recited. However, it will be compulsory on the person who is in the state of janabat to make the sajdah when he or she becomes paak.
