The Centre Manager extended sincere gratitude for the donations received, which included meals for children for the after-school care programme, snack packs for children on their way home, as well as food parcels to destitute and chronic treatment patients.
The Care Centre stressed the major role these distributions play in the livelihood and positive spirit of their beneficiaries, bringing joy to the children and elderly receiving these much-needed goods.
The Lamontville Thembalethu Care Centre is a day care centre for orphaned and vulnerable children, and additionally caters for destitute families. The DHC’s contributions help the Centre’s nutrition programme, ensuring that it continues to grow and benefit those in need.
The Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre hopes to continue cultivating a fruitful relationship with the Thembalethu Care Centre – as well as others like it – to help uplift, encourage, and aid indigent communities.
