As soon as I received the vehicle I informed everyone that they could now contact me for any plumbing jobs they might have.
Thereafter, I decided not to focus on plumbing only but to advertise my services for collection and deliveries, rubble removal, etc. However, I have been advised not to overload the vehicle so I made 2-3 trips for larger loads when necessary and avoided loads which could strain the vehicle.
A few months later I started collecting scrap metal as well and this has turned out to be a regular source of income for me.
Now most of the income generated by use of the bakkie is through plumbing job call-outs and collection and sale of scrap metal.
I also sent out a few emails for scrap metal collection to chain/group stores and large companies. I have had some positive responses from them.
On the 3rd April I was involved in an accident, however, I am still operating.
In addition to helping me earn money, I can now take my mother to visit family and go to the doctor, dentist, etc. I am now able to pay most of the rent and buy groceries quite often. Sometimes I also pick up or drop off musallees who are old or sick- especially for Jumuah.
I am requesting the duas of all that Allah Ta'ala continue granting me more Halaal rizq with ease, Ameen.
Please keep me in mind for any plumbing jobs and collection of scrap metal such as old/broken/damaged machinery, appliances, computers, shelving, racks, cables etc., anything with metal in it.
Again, I just wish to express my deep gratitude to Darul Ihsan for the bakkie. I am unable to fully express how much I appreciate your help.
May Allah Ta'ala accept your efforts and Khidmat to the Ummah.
Was Salaam
