CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC - Daily Duas from the Sunnah

In the wake of the Coronavirus Pandemic, these Sunnah Duas should be recited daily and as often as possible. Recite with conviction of protection from all diseases and harm.

Safety from harm of creatures - Recite thrice every morning & evening

أَعُوْذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

Translation: "I seek refuge with Allah’s perfect words from the evil of what He has created." (Muslim
Benefit: The reciter will be granted safety and protection from harm of creatures and the environment

Protection from all harm – Recite thrice every morning & evening

بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِى لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِه ٖ شَيْءٌ فِى الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِى السَّمَآءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيْعِ الْعَلِيْمِ

Translation: I take the name of Allah in whose Name nothing in the skies and the earth can harm and He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. (Tirmizi)

Benefit: The reciter will be protected from all harm (including deadly diseases)

Protection for Deen, life, children and family – Recite thrice every morning & evening

بِسْمِ اللهِ عَلىٰ دِيْنِى وَنَفْسِى وَوَلَدِى وَأَهْلِى وَمَالِى

Translation: I take the name of Allah upon my Deen, my life, my children, my family and my wealth. (Kanzul Ummal)

Benefit: A person came to Nabi ﷺ and expressed his fear for his life, children, family and wealth. Nabi ﷺ advised him to recite this dua thrice every morning and evening. After some time Nabi ﷺ inquired regarding his fears. He said that his fears had all vanished.

Remedy for all worries – 7 times every morning & evening

حَسْبِيَ اللهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ

Benefit: “Whoever recites this dua 7 times every morning, Allah Ta’ala will take care of all his worries.” (Abu Dawood)
