Continuing with its community initiatives, on Thursday 03 September 2015, Darul Ihsan, through its Muslim Empowerment Fund provided combo meals, fruit packs and stationery packs to 50 children at King Dinizulu Hospital in Asherville. The programme was arranged in conjunction with the Pharmacy Department as part of their Pharmacy Awareness Week Event.

The programme was arranged in conjunction with the Pharmacy Department as part of their Pharmacy Awareness Week Event.
The children at this faculty suffer from chronic illnesses and stay in the hospital wards and attend the ‘Hospital School’ during the day.
The principal, Vani Singh, expressed her appreciation and thanked Darul Ihsan for the kind contribution to the patients/learners and the time taken to visit and motivate the young learners.
In another event, Darul Ihsan provided 300 hot meals to The Inanda Community Health Centre on Friday 4 September 2015 as part of their Pharmacy Awareness Week Event. Here the pediatric patients and their parents from the ARV program were served the hot meals.
