Over the past eight years, as a seasonal project, Darul Ihsan centre has provided blankets for needy communities in Southern Africa during the winter months. Well over a hundred communities nationally have been served with blankets and winter apparel. Areas that experience extreme winters are identified and prompt distribution is undertaken in the remote areas. The localities and recipients have continuously expressed their joy and gratitude to the Muslim community for their kindness and generosity. We take this opportunity to thank those who have assisted and continue to support this project.
