Today, formal education through an institute is not affordable to many. The Darul Ihsan Bursary Fund (DIBF) endeavours to give deserving Muslim students financial assistance to pursue a career and realise their full potential.
In 2012, the DIBF assisted about 250 students with bursaries in various fields of studies viz. Islamic studies, Islamic school studies, medicine, engineering, accounting, IT, trade skills, journalism and various other fields of study.
Bursary applications for 2013 are now open. Those wishing to apply for a bursary are requested to note the following:
• Applicants residing in Durban are required to collect the application form from Darul Ihsan offices and return the completed form accordingly
• Forms may be posted, email or faxed to applicants residing outside Durban
• The application form is for the current year of study
• DIBF application is open from 01 December 2012 to 31 March 2013
