A:  If there is a valid medical reason to utilise contact lenses, it will be permissible. However, if a female wishes to wear coloured contact lenses for beautification purposes for the pleasure of the husband, then this maybe done within the framework of the Shariah. However, it should not be worn to deceive anyone regarding the colour of one’s eyes.
