In a post on X last week, UNRWA Commissioner-General; Philippe Lazzarini; posted that the Israeli forces denied entry of vehicles carrying critical medical supplies into the Gaza Strip. A truck was turned away for containing scissors used for children’s medical kits.

Lazzarini highlighted the Israeli “dual list” of prohibited items, which include essential items such as anaesthesia, oxygen cylinders, water purification tablets, ventilators, cancer medications, as well as other crucial medical provisions.
