The Qur’an was written by calligrapher Ali bin Hilal, who is better known as Ibn al-Bawwab, and is over 1,000 years old. The manuscript is an astounding display of calligraphy and ornamentation, with rich historical value.

It is one of the rarest Islamic manuscripts in existence, with only two copies known to have survived.
