The study found that the Garden Route was voted as having the best driving conditions. This includes the consideration of humidity, ground temperature, visibility, wind speed, and number of clear days.

“We have applied the criteria to popular drives within the UK, as well as some of the other world’s most celebrated driving routes,” said AutoTrader.

Of them, the Garden Route was voted “No. 1 in the hierarchy of perfect driving conditions”, scoring an astounding 90.6 out of 100 in the study conducted. This achievement will play a key role in boosting the local economy and tourism sector.
