Madinatul-Munawwarah - Our Beloved City

Who can deny the sanctity and greatness of the Mubarak city of Madinatul-Munawwarah? Our beloved Nabi Muhammad ﷺ emphatically praised the blessed lands of Madinatul-Munawwarah. The Mubarak city's Status, Rank, Blessedness, Baraka, Superiority, Prominence and so on, are an unshakeable and resolute belief of every Muslim. No Muslim visits this blessed lands of Allah most beloved, Nabi (عليه السلام) except that he/she leaves with boundless blessings and goodness. It is thus not difficult to believe that the fortunate ones who visited these sanctified lands experience the joys of enormous volumes of blessings and a unique class of inner happiness.

Some very fortunate ones also live through, cherishing the great abundance (Baraka) in their daily sustenance!
The expenses, fatigue, physical exertion and other challenges, incurred during a “Life-Enriching-Journey” to the most beloved city of Madinatul-Munawwarah, pales into insignificance when compared to the sheer joy, ecstasy and peace that one experiences. Ask any "Aashik-e-Nabi", i.e. one drenched with the love for our most beloved Nabi-e-Akram, Janab-e-Muhammad Mustapha ﷺ.

May Allah bless us all with regular visits to the most beloved city of all, Madinatul-Munawwarah. (Ameen)

Every Cent (Riyal) spent in the city of beloved Nabi Mustapha (عليه السلام) is an indisputable investment for the hereafter (Aakhira). Additionally, the loads and loads of rewards for every Cent (Riyal) expended in the most glorious city of Madinatul-Munawwarah goes way beyond one’s imagination. Such is the unique Baraka and Superiority of this noble city that even a simple purchase from a trader here, attracts invaluable rewards. Not only because these traders are the inhabitants of this magnificent City, but also because they’re the very fortunate “neighbours” of our beloved Nabi ﷺ.

As a result of the sublime superiority of Madinatul-Munawwarah, even the people of the City enjoy quite an elevated status.

Our beloved master and leader, Nabi Muhammad ﷺ said: "Whoever causes harm to the people of Madinatul-Munawwarah, the curse of Allah ﷻ, the angels and of all the people of the world, shall be on them. Neither will their Fard or Nafl ‘Ibada shall be accepted." (Wafa-ul-Wafa)

This reprimand is most definitely not a minor issue. That is the main reason why visitors to this Noble City are warned to be extremely careful. Like the many admonishments and advices given by Nabi ﷺ with regard to this absolutely beautiful and magnificent City, Nabi Muhammad ﷺ is also reported to have stated: "He who causes treachery to anyone of Madinah, will disappear like salt dissolves in water." (Bukhari)

Allah ﷻ has indeed honoured the people of Madinatul-Munawwarah: because it is the City of our beloved Nabi (عليه السلام); and because this most cherished and most precious Creation of Allah How is it possible for us to live in this hallowed land, knowing full well that the Mubarak body of our most beloved Nabi ﷺ is in our midst? The above question is a loud and clear message to the people who wish to reside in the Mubarak land to … “live with a clean and pure heart and mind.” In this regard, Nabi (عليه السلام) reportedly stated: "It is not possible to live in Madinah if you are not clean." (Al Ifadaat)
