Our hearts go out to all parents on the tragic loss of their children in this horrific accident.

It is sad that we have to lose our children – the future of our country – in such circumstances.

Traffic police and the Department of Transport need to enforce more stringent road safety measures, particularly in relation to those who commute school children in numbers.

School principals, teachers and parents need to ensure that their children are commuted by drivers/providers of transport who place the utmost importance on the safety of children.
Perhaps an ‘Arrive Alive’ campaign specifically for school children should be implemented nationally and become a constant in our society.
