During the start of May, Feed the Needy – a Darul Ihsan initiative to provide meals to the underprivileged – has distributed over 1000 hot meals.

These meals were provided to residents of Quarry Road East Informal Settlement, Bernard Road Informal Settlement, Johanna Road Informal Settlement, and Newlands West, respectively.

With the help of staff and volunteers, these feeding schemes take place several times a week, distributing hot, packaged meals to anyone in the area in need. Through generous contributions from the Muslim community, the Darul Ihsan Centre is capable of continuing the project.
