In Pietermaritzburg on Friday – 18 November 2022 – the East Boom Clinic Open Day took place.

The CEO of the clinic; Dr Chetty; expressed gratitude towards the Darul Ihsan Relief Team for their prompt response in providing a much-needed wheelchair, as well as 2 walking aids to the facility. This equipment will assist day patients greatly, who visit the clinic for treatment.

Furthermore, 200 Snack Packs were handed out to patients present at the Clinic Day Event by DHC volunteering sisters based in Pietermaritzburg.

Dr Chetty also expressed his thanks to Darul Ihsan Centre for caring for patients who arrive at the clinic during early hours of the morning and at times have nothing to eat. The snack packs, he said, are very much needed and appreciated.

Lastly, he stated that the relationship between Darul Ihsan Centre and the clinic must grow from strength to strength, as Darul Ihsan Centre plays an integral part in patient support.
