The Al Ihsan Charity Shop will be a year old next month and has already seen significant success since its opening. Based centrally in Moses Kotane Road (formerly Sparks Road), Overport, Durban, the concept is proving to be in an excellent location. The shop is conveniently nestled amidst the many residential flats of the famous and bustling “Overport-Sparks Road-Area”.

The Charity Shop stocks donated household items, as well as other goods and commodities (Lillah not Zakat) that have acceptable resale value. We recognise the risks that accompany the sale of pre-owned items, and as such, carefully curate and ensure that the items at the Charity Shop are of reasonably good quality.

The donated items - whatever they might be - can be seconds, rejects, out of fashion items or remnants. The basic requirement is that these items should be usable or wearable. All proceeds from the sales go directly to Darul Ihsan initiatives and projects that benefit the community.
