Alhamdulillah, Darul Ihsan Centre is authorised for the registration of South African marriages.

Marriage registrations are done by appointed Marriage Officers at our offices at Sea Cow Lake and Gem Towers in Overport.

The requirements for the registration of marriages are:
• Both spouses must be South African citizens
• Both spouses must be in possession of a South African identity document (Green)
• Kindly note that the Marriage Officers cannot register a marriage if one of the spouses is a non-South African citizen. This can only be done at any of the Home Affairs Departmental offices.
• An Anti-Nuptial contract (excluding the accrual system) must be drawn up by an Attorney. Once the protocol number is obtained then our offices can be contacted for the registration of the marriage.
