The Muslim Empowerment Fund blankets were distributed in conjunction with Al-Fidaa (P.E.), who were represented by Imam Anwar Variawa, who provided 10 packets soup for each recipient. We were also assisted by Br. Abdul Qadir and Br. Mohd. from Somalia who helped with the transport, security and distribution. We were also assisted by Assistant Ward Councillors Fika and Pali, who represented the area and knew and identified the victims. The Ward Councillors were to have arranged the media, who did not turn up.
