Among these, are the extending of good wishes and greetings to those of other faiths on occasions such as Christmas, New Year, Diwali, etc. and greetings acknowledging practices such as Guy Fawkes, Valentines, etc.
Ulama advise that it is against the honour and dignity of a Muslim to greet people of other faiths with their religious greeting. This practice must be avoided. However, being courteous to all humans, regardless of their faith is indeed part of good character and must be practiced with dignity.
Closely guard your Islamic identity and avoid any practice that compromises one's Iman and decorum as a Muslim.
