City takes a stand against rock throwers

AGHAST by the recent acts of criminality, injustice and lawlessness, eThekwini Municipality Deputy Mayor Fawzia Peer, accompanied by the ‘Abantu Behlangene Against Crime’ community outreach programme took to the streets to raise awareness against rock throwers from overhead bridges.

Two initiatives by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) will enable Turkey to have closer dialogue with emerging Islamic countries, Turkey’s deputy prime minister said.

ETHEKWINI Mayor Zandile Gumede has applauded the rollout of a massive electrification plan for government housing projects in the Municipality. This massive service delivery plan, approved by Councillors in the Human Settlements and Infrastructure Committee meeting on 6 February at Durban City Hall, will ensure that all RDP houses built and occupied before 2016, disaster relief houses, R293 houses and four room houses are electrified.
