The new appointees were empowered to execute their duties ethically and professionally, aligning them with the values of the City. This is after an excited bunch of recruits attended a Work Readiness Seminar hosted by the City’s Performance and Talent Management unit at Moses Mabhida Stadium on 14 June.
The recruits were inducted on the importance of performance management, work ethics and were educated on what is expected of them as Municipal employees.
Acting Head of Human Resources Mary-Anne Cobarg said the recruitment process was daunting as more than 90 000 applications were received.
