The distribution of the “13 Line” Noble Qur’ans - printed and bound in Turkey - were facilitated through the Centre’s office in Mayfair West, Johannesburg.
300 Qur’ans were distributed in Durban, about 100 distributed in Johannesburg and 500 to the Sautul Quran Institute in Azaadville.
400 Qur’ans have been despatched to Swaziland and another 500 are ready to be despatched to Malawi, Insha Allah.
In a fact-finding visit to Malawi, Ulama members of Darul Ihsan Centre noted a short supply of Qur’ans, particularly in Maktabs.
Maulana Muhammed Ravat from the Mayfair West office said the Qur’ans sent into Africa are most appreciated by the recipient communities.
Further, through the Centre’s Johannesburg office, 50 cartons of Madrassah Kitaabs (‘Tasheel Series’ - from pre-school to Grade 12) were sent to Cape Town for distribution to Makaatibs under the supervision of Ml Mohamed Pandor.
Another 50 cartons of assorted Kitaabs were sent to the Al Fidaa Foundation in Port Elizabeth for distribution to Madrassahs and Musallahs in the outlying areas and 10 cartons of assorted Kitaabs were sent to the Musallah in Villa Liza, Boksburg.
Darul Ihsan Centre thanks all who contribute to and well-wishers who support the Centre for the realisation of such projects.
