The course is conducted over a four month period with two-three hour tutorials per week. Continuous assessments are carried out during the course and a final written exam - with a practical demonstration - are taken at the end of the course and certificates of attendance are issued to successful candidates. The first ‘Caregiver Course’ for 2018 is currently underway with 19 participants from Durban and surrounding areas. Thus far 44 ladies have graduated as Caregivers.
