The DIBF has been offering financial assistance/bursaries for many/several years and, Alhamdulillah, the current budget is two million Rand.
This year the DIBF coordinated with the ‘Central Bursary and Welfare Forum’ (CBWF) where – for the first time – online applications have been offered to provide ease of access for learners/ students.
The CBWF is an umbrella body offering bursary and welfare assistance which operates as a central office in order to facilitate and expedite financial assistance to learners/students.
Due to a large number of applications the focus of the DIBF is primarily to offer partial and/or initial bursary assistance. However, a portion of the budget is allocated for full bursary applicants.
Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre also has the ‘School Fees’ and ‘School Uniform & Stationery’ programmes/initiatives in place to provide assistance for learners at public schools.
The DIBF initiative and all other projects of Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre are made possible by the generous contributions and support of the Muslim community.
