The massive ship was docked at the Prince Edward Graving Dock in the Port of Durban, which is one of Africa’s oldest and most significant ship repair facilities, serving both local economy as well as international shipping. This feat is a showcasing of the dock’s capability to accommodate and repair ships efficiently.
For the following 10 days, specialist teams will carry out repairs, maintenance, and inspections of the ship. Among the largest vessels to dock at the port, Troy is one of them, weighing 73,180 tonnes.
