Darul Ihsan Ulama engaged with Imams, Ulama and scholars of Newcastle, Benoni and nearby towns of Northern KZN to present a broad based Ulama empowerment programme.

Households in the Durban suburb of Phoenix and surrounding areas are affected by many social conditions which impact negatively on their lives. One among the many challenges experienced is massive unemployment which has resulted is not only poverty but a desperate need for even a single meal for the day.

The Social Department of Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre, in its ongoing campaign to educate and empower Muslims conducted several workshops in Stanger on 17th and 18th October 2018.

The Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre Outreach Team, joined by community volunteers, provided 410 hot-packed meals to residents at the Pilgrim informal settlement in Isipingo on Saturday, 20 October 2018.

The “Home Improvement” project of Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre (DHC) specifically supports low-income homeowners in a bid to renovate, repair and improve the general condition of their homes and enhance their living conditions.

The Outreach Team of Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre, together with community volunteers, supplied and distributed 390 hot-packed meals to residents at the Banana City informal settlement on Saturday, 13 October 2018.
