Darul Ihsan Centre – through its Muslim Empowerment Fund – provided hot meals and soft drinks for all residents and staff members of the Natal Settlers Memorial Home in Umbilo on Tuesday, 17 January 2017.
The Memorial Home – established about 75 years ago - is an old age home and a frail care centre for almost 380 senior citizens.
At the Home there is a specialized area for the care and nursing of people affected by cerebral palsy.
The Operations Coordinator of the Home, Ms Sandra Welton, residents and staff members expressed their appreciation and thanked Darul Ihsan Centre for providing the meal.
These outreaches of Darul Ihsan Centre are made possible through the generous and ongoing support and contributions of the Muslim community.
