It is clear from this hadith that none is allowed to follow and obey, or display sanctimony and sacredness to any person - irrespective of his/her status. It is against the commands of the Shariah.
In other words if, one’s parents, spiritual mentor, teacher, friend, relative, or even the most pious of Saints, instructs you to perform any act which is against the Principles of Shariah, and against the Law of Allah (سبحانه و تعالى), then one is obliged to completely and totally disregard, desist and abstain from it.
Entertaining even a nano-atom idea of obedience to a call by a“fellow creation” (like for example, a fellow human being), goes totally against the orders and injunctions of Allah (سبحانه و تعالى).
