The fast of Ramadan is obligatory on every Muslim adult. There is no monetary compensation for one who can fast.

A Muslim must be mindful of those around him and avoid causing even the slightest inconvenience to anyone. 

Allah Ta'ala has granted permission to people who are aged or terminally ill and have no hope of fasting again in their life, to compensate for each fast by feeding a poor and needy person (two complete meals for a day). This compensation is referred to as 'fidya.’

Masha Allah, South African Muslims are generally prompt in discharging their Zakah.

1. Constantly ask Allah Ta’ala for ability (tawfeeq) to benefit from the blessings of Ramadan daily. This should begin in earnest from now.

Social networking is everywhere. Nearly everyone belongs to a social network on sites such as Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn etc.
While most people understand the basic etiquette of real-world interactions, many have yet to understand how to behave when using social media.
Zina (adultery or fornication) is an awful act. It destroys the chastity, dignity and spirituality of the individual and has many negative social ramifications.
