A Vile Act!

The peoples of the world have made a 3600 turnaround in the way they think, speak, rationalise and act out their lives. What a tragedy? Man marries man, woman marries woman, bestiality, pedophilia and the list of despicable acts continue.

What an anomaly and sheer stupidity? The so-called modern and morally-upright countries after country are following a weird trend to endorse and legitimise these and other most despicable of acts.

Clearly, the “gateway” to these ungodly and contemptible acts are, inter alia, homosexuality and lesbianism. In many of the countries which present as standard bearers and preachers of “moral-conscious” it’s taboo and indeed illegal, to condemn this filth and perversity. Most unfortunately, such abhorring, loathsome and repugnant “Allah-displeasing” behaviour has also raised its ugly head in some “Muslim communities”.

The act of homosexuality is worse than Zina (adultery): And Zina is a major sin! Homosexuality is regarded as sheer filth and is totally appalling and condemned by most sensible and rational people. As a matter of fact, not even the animal kingdom accepts such obnoxious behaviour. It is for this reason that the Sahaba (RA), the Tabi’een and the consensus of the Ummah have totally condemned the vile and detestable act of homosexuality. These illustrious groups have even classified the act as being worse than adultery, fornication and sex out of marriage (nikah). Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) had therefore concluded that a person involve in such a vile and detestable act must be given the most severe punishment like, e.g. such a filthy person should be thrown from a high cliff, and stones should be rained upon him.

There are numerous ahadith on the subject matter. Only a few are mentioned below:

1. Hadhrat Ibn Abbas (RA) reports that Nabi (Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam) said :

“Allah’s curse descends upon the one who indulges in the habits of the people of
Nabi Lῦt (AS), he [Nabi (Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam)] mentioned this three times”
(At-Tarheeb-ut-Tarqeeb)

2. Hadhrat Ibn Abbas (RA) reports that Nabi (Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam) said :

“Whoever encounters the (habits) of the people of Nabi Lῦt (AS), then kill the doer,
as well as the one upon whom it’s done”.
(Abu Dawood Shareef)

3. Hadhrat Ibn Abbas (RA) reports that Nabi (Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam) said :

Allah will not look at the person who comes to a man or woman from the back. (passage - i.e. - via the anus)”
(Tirmidhi Shareef)

4. Hadhrat Abu Huraira (RA) reports that Nabi (Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam) said :

“Four people in the morning and in the evening remain in the anger of Allah. It was
asked: “who are they, O Rasulullah?”

Nabi (Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam) replied:

Those men who imitate women, those women who imitate men, those who approach animals in performing indecent acts and those men who approach men in sexual activities.”
(Bayhaqi)

Hafiz ibn Hajr (R) writes that once Hadhrat Suleman (AS) asked Iblees (the accursed one) which act is most liked by you. Iblees (the accursed one) replied: “homosexuality”
