Status & Achievements:

Hazrat Fatimah (R) is the fourth and youngest daughter of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and Hazrat Khadeejah           

It is said that the name Fatimah (literally meaning 'safe from the fire') was revealed by Allah Ta’ala.

She was married to Hazrat Ali (R) in 2 A.H. and she went to live with him a few months later. She was about 15 and Hazrat Ali (R) was about 21 at the time of their Nikah.

Of all the daughters, she was the most beloved to Rasulullah r; whenever he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) went out on a journey, the last person he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) would visit before leaving was Hazrat Fatimah       and when he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) would return from a journey the first person he would meet was Hazrat Fatimah     .

It was about 6 months after the death of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) that Hazrat Fatimah       fell ill. She had 6 children: Hazrat Hasan, Hazrat Husain, Hazrat Muhassan, Hazrat Ruqayyah, Hazrat Umm Kulsum and Hazrat Zainab y

Virtues

When she requested her beloved father (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) for a helper for her domestic chores he gave her the gift of Tasbeeh Fatimi. She bore her difficulties with much patience and perseverance. She has the honour of being the leader of the women of Jannah.
